Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai Night Safari is Thailand's first nocturnal zoo and one of the few night safari parks in the world, offering visitors a unique opportunity to observe wildlife in a natural nighttime environment. Located at the foothills of Doi Suthep–Pui National Park, approximately 10 kilometers from Chiang Mai city center, the park is surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful natural atmosphere.
One of the park's main highlights is the Safari Tram, which takes visitors through two open-range wildlife zones. The Savanna Safari Zone features African grassland animals such as giraffes, zebras, white rhinoceroses, antelopes, and ostriches. The Predator Prowl Zone showcases powerful carnivores including lions, tigers, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators. Informative commentary is provided throughout the journey in Thai, English, and selected additional languages depending on the operating schedule.
Visitors can also explore the Jaguar Trail and Tiger Trail, two walking trails featuring a diverse collection of wildlife from around the world. Additional attractions include the Musical Fountain Show, Predator Show, cultural performances, and animal feeding experiences where guests can interact with giraffes, deer, and other herbivorous animals.
With restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, resting areas, and convenient visitor facilities, Chiang Mai Night Safari is an excellent destination for families, couples, groups of friends, and nature lovers seeking an unforgettable evening wildlife adventure in Chiang Mai.
